The Community Development Institute is a training program designed to enhance the leadership and management capabilities of those individuals responsible for developing our communities. CDI is endorsed by the CDC and is a principal component for the Professional Community & Economic Developer (PCED) certification. Created in 1987, CDI consists of three one-week long sessions and is offered in five locations in the U.S.
