Certification Process
The Professional
Community & Economic Developer is the professional certification designated by
the Community Development Council. It is available to professional community
developers who are engaged in a purposeful effort to enlist individuals
in the community to collaboratively work to shape and guide the development
and economic prosperity of their community making full use of local
and external resources. Over 200 individuals have received the Certified
Community Developer designation.
